Proxyble Documentation
Guides and reference material for protecting APIs with Proxyble.
Proxyble puts a managed protection layer in front of an API, web application, or TCP service. It manages HAProxy and nftables locally, with optional RioDB analytics for automated threat-detection workflows.
Start here
Follow the initial path in order:
- Install Proxyble on a supported Linux host.
- Set up your first deployment by configuring a listener and backend.
- Deploy your first automated policy when you are ready to add RioDB analytics.
What you will find here
- Architecture: how HAProxy, nftables, RioDB, and the rule agent work together.
- Manual rules and automated policies: choose the appropriate enforcement model.
- Deployment, operational, troubleshooting, and reference material as the documentation expands.
Product coverage
- Listener modes and TLS and backend routing for deploying Proxyble in front of a service.
- Automated detection policies for RioDB-driven traffic analysis.
- Manual rule actions and allow-lists for direct enforcement control.
- Runtime management, logs and audit, and diagnostics for operating a running deployment.
Reference
- Manage Proxyble configuration without editing generated service files directly.
- Use the CLI Reference to find configuration, rules, allow-list, policy, and lifecycle command groups.
- Choose a RioDB template from the Policy Catalog, or inspect Paths and Services during operations and diagnostics.
